Sept 15, 2009 -- Marietta, GA to Paducah, KY
We got underway from home (Marietta, GA) about 12:00 noon on September 15th, bound for Bellingham, WA. The first day was blustery with wind and rain for much of the day. It later turned out that these storms were the beginning of the weather that caused so much flooding in Atlanta. We stopped in Paducah, KY for the night. Sorry, we took no pictures. We were tired and ready for bed when the driving day ended. Because this trip will take us up and down mountains and through valleys, we're going to log our elevation each evening. Paducah elevation: 341 feet.
Our trip to the Pacific Northwest
This past September 15th, 2009, we embarked on a driving/boating trip to the wonderful world of the British Columbia Pacific Coast and the associated waters of the southern Inside Passage. What a wonderful four weeks plus it was! Here is a chronicle, log and pictures of some of the highlights of this marvelous experience. We hope you enjoy!
