Sept 17, 2009 -- St. Joseph, MO to Cheyenne, WY

We left St. Joseph about the same time nearly a thousand Harley-Davidsons left to follow the Pony Express route to Sacramento, CA.  Fortunately, we headed north, so missed the fun!  Our route took us north on I-29 through the corner of Iowa, then westward on Interstate 80 through Lincoln, Kearney and North Platte, NE, then on into Cheyenne, WY for the night.  The high plains were fascinating, but we took no pictures today.  Check it out tomorrow...  Cheyenne, WY elevation: 6,062 feet
