Sept 18, 2009 -- Cheyenne, WY to Jackson, WY

Today we decided it would be fun to take pictures of what we were seeing.  Since we had been seeing a lot of huge fields of huge windmills, we got this picture:

As we moved further westward, we began to see higher and higher hills...and more and more snow fencing:

Are you old enough to remember "Sinclair" gas stations?  Well, today, just east of Rawlins, WY we passed this Sinclair refinery near the town of, yes, Sinclair:

Soon, we arrived at the Western Continental Divide at 7,000 feet.  This was near Table Rock, WY:

One would think the Continental Divide would mark the top of a mountain ridge, but we were traveling in what seemed like flat land:

But, the mountains ahead got bigger...:

We finally arrived in Jackson, WY, playground of skiers, climbers, fishermen, etc.  We checked into our hotel and went to the local grocery for provisions (we were doing a lot of picnics and microwave suppers).  Tomorrow, we will visit the Grand Teton National Park.
