Today is the day we go aboard our charter boat -- our home for the next two weeks. Ruth saw this pretty flower box as we left the motel, and had to have a picture:
We headed for NW Explorations, the charter company, and found it pretty easily:
All of Squalicum Bay was packed with boats of every description. Out there somewhere was our charter boat. Note Mount Baker in the background:
We found our boat, "Grand Adventure," and started unloading gear. We had a lot of "stuff," but it IS for two weeks:
Once we had all our stuff from home stowed aboard, we went shopping for fresh produce, meat, etc., at the local groceries. We also got the car washed (over 3200 miles since a washing), and went to a laundromat to wash clothes. Lots of chores.
After a quick happy hour aboard our floating home, we went back to the Thai restaurant we ate at last night for supper. It was that good!
