Today we were supposed to get checked out on the boat's systems and ask any questions we had. We were going to be cruising in a small "flotilla," with two other boats. The lead boat was to be operated by Brian Pemberton, the owner of the charter company, NW Explorations. Here is Brian and Bill checking engine fluids. Brian decided to add some oil to the port engine. For boat buffs, those engines are CAT 3208s:

We did a little more shopping today and stowed stuff. We had supper on board and turned in early since we were to be underway by 8:00 a.m. tomorrow.
